Spring Shop Hop

Sprouting Roots & Me (Ages 2-5)

June 12th

10:00 am

The definition of a parfait is “a dessert consisting of layers of ice cream, fruit, etc., served in a tall glass.” Or in France, a parfait refers to “a frozen dessert made from a base of sugar syrup, egg, and cream.”

In this class we are going to let our picky toddlers decide what a parfait is to them! We will be substituting some ingredients to make healthier parfait options. Instead of ice cream, we will make a quick and fresh fruit sorbet. We will have yogurt, cereal, and different fruit options!

Your child will practice measuring ingredients and cutting fruit in this class! This class will surely be a hit with your child!

The coffee house will be open so feel free to grab a drink while you are here. Or, plan to order lunch after the class! You can find the menu at www.wellgroundedcafe.com!

Younger siblings such as babies in wraps or strollers are welcome, but each child participating in the class must be registered. This class must meet a minimum enrollment requirement. In the event of a cancellation you will receive a refund, or can ask to be transferred to the next Sprouts class.
